Originally founded in Hamshire in 1899, St. Mary Catholic Church has a rich history of serving the Catholic faithful in the communities of Hamshire, Fannett, LaBelle and Cheek. St. Martin de Porres Catholic Mission was established in 1972 in Cheek.
